CNC bridge saw applications
How a CNC bridge saw handles kitchen countertops, mitered edges on porcelain and quartz, cladding, flooring and stair production.
Kitchen countertops and vanity tops on a CNC bridge saw
A 5-axis CNC bridge saw cuts the full kitchen from a DXF: straight cuts, miters, cooktop and sink cutouts with an electrospindle, and drainboard grooves. Most of the time it saves is handling time between cuts, not cutting speed.
Mitered edges on a CNC bridge saw
A good miter needs an accurately calibrated A-axis tilt, a blade made for inclined cuts and reduced feed at entry and exit. A 5-axis saw adds variable-angle and inclined cuts; for plain 45° miters on rectangular pieces, an indexed tilt can do the job.
Cladding, flooring and stairs on a CNC bridge saw
A single-blade CNC bridge saw suits project work: mixed panel sizes, stair sets, kerfs for cladding fixings and drip grooves. For large volumes of standard tiles or strips, a multi-blade line is faster and the better investment.
